We proudly present you the first edition of Candle Lounge. In these fast moving times it is more than important to let your mind, body and soul relax on a regular base. Of course in these fast moving times also everybody wants a piece of the ever-growing lounge music cake. This is way the market is flooded with products that do not keep they musical promise that they make on the cd packaging. The double compilation “Candle Lounge” keeps the aesthetic and laidback promise it makes on the outside. You can safely close your eyes, or let them be blindfolded and dive into the music to escape from the outside world. Over 140 minutes of joyful relaxation are guaranteed. CD1, the Hot Wax Side, has a laidback, Balearic down-tempo vibe and will please you whether you are on a beach watching them surfer dudes wax their boards, or enjoy candle wax in other dimensions. The disc starts of with the freedom anthem by Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick feat. Shawnee Taylor, followed by Balearic tunes from Josete Ordoñez and Agua Loca Project. Newton shows that also the city of Cologne has its waves and certainly knows how to chill and thrill. Lazy Hammock stands for its artist and song name. Levthand is on this silver disc with a wicked Solar Moon dub version of his “Cadillac Track” hit, as well as DJ Lopo, S.E.L. and Enigmatic. Max Sedgley causes waves of emotions with his tribute to the beach, while Jens Buchert lets us dive deep into the ocean of joy. Larse from Dortmund Beach brings us his musical interpretation of family unity. British reggae darling Finley Quaye (together with Tape Loops) spreads some rasta vibes, before Martin Denev shows us how to fly! CD 2, Candle Light Side, keeps the laidback vibe and should pleasure you during candle light dinners, in your living- or bath- room, or wherever you feel like letting yourself go in a sophisticated way. The cd starts of with Desney Bailey´s “Crazy Day”, afterwards Sinan Mercenk and Oezlem spread some love. Polished Chrome delivers way more than just a little something with his song, while Villablue and Juanita Grande shine though leaving the lights. Haldo from Rome fuses classic with lounge in his remix of “Butterfly”. Eddie Silverton & Yota Yota do it the sweet Swedish way and Clelia Felix brings some romantic French vibes. Magnus Wedberg chills us down, before Alex Douche and Grooveblaster bring us some funky vibes. Weeland & The Urban Soul Collective spread some hot passion with their tune, before DJ Center rubs it down the hot Latin way. At the end we could not resist to make you dance, with Kiko Navarro´s interpretation of the 80s evergreen and the flashy Flash Atkins “Make your move” love bomb. The double compilation is compiled & smoothly mixed by Henri Kohn. Enjoy the music and let it light you fire!
